About English Letters Club

English Letters Club was created to bring back the simple joy of receiving real letters in our screen-filled world. It's a way to create moments of screen-free learning and connection. The goal is to spark a love of reading, writing, and language in children aged 6 to 12. Twice a month, letters with stories and activities arrive in the post for children learning English as a foreign language.

About Candace

Candace has worked in applied drama and education since 2009. She's taught English in schools across four different curricula—British National, Cambridge, Waldorf, and Portuguese National. She owned a Theatre in Education company that performed plays and ran workshops in schools and libraries across three countries. While living in Shakespeare's hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon, she specialized in literature and Shakespeare-based drama workshops for local primary schools.

When she's not teaching, she loves to read, write, and cook. She's a mom to two kids and has called three countries home.
